Antoinette Liguori Sirianni is a second-year MFA student in the Socially Engaged Studio Art program. She is an environmentally-minded artist who is particularly interested in reusing and repurposing non-recyclable, single-use plastics into pieces of art that highlight the consequences of these materials on our planet and their use in our society. Her MFA in Progress exhibition is on view November 7 - 14 in The Galleries at Moore.

With the recent launch of the College's new brand, more than 20 billboards will be installed throughout the greater Philadelphia area—half of which will feature art by recent BFA Art Education graduate, Nina Valdera ’20.

Moore College of Art & Design, the first and only historically all-women’s art and design school in the nation, is unveiling a new look during this challenging year. A new logo, along with updated colors and a new typeface, are the hallmarks of a more contemporary brand for the College and its ecosystem of academic programs, which include co-ed graduate studies, youth education and adult continuing education offerings.

With the fall semester off to a start we welcome seven incoming MFA/MA students and welcome back four continuing MFAs. We also have some great new faculty teaching for the first time this semester.

Fine Arts alumna Veronica Perez ’14 has received a $25,000 Ellis-Beauregard Foundation Visual Artist Fellowship. Perez is a Maine-based sculptor and educator whose work emphasizes social justice.
