Students who participated in Moore’s first virtual Summer Art & Design Institute (SADI) have an exciting new showcase for their art—an online gallery.

“Usually SADI culminates with a show, and this year we (weren’t) able to do that,” said Associate Dean of Continuing Education Joanna Jenkins. “So we are featuring their work in an online gallery.”

Over the four weeks of the summer session, students worked on creating excellent portfolio pieces. They also learned how to select and prepare their art during professional development classes.

“It was an opportunity for them to learn how to photograph their work, how to describe their work and how to upload their work,” Jenkins said.

Several artworks from each student are presented in the gallery.
