Moore's beautiful urban campus is located right in the center of it all, on the historic Benjamin Franklin Parkway. With two main buildings, Wilson Hall and Sarah Peter Hall, and two residence halls, Stahl and Sartain, our campus feels spacious, airy and bright, and also completely manageable and easy to navigate.
Study in one of our comfortable lounge areas or curl up by the fireplace in Jane's Corner, where you can grab a bite to eat with your friends. There are also three outdoor courtyard spaces and Aviator Park right across the street for outdoor gatherings.
Our main campus buildings on Race Street offer a world of facilities and resources to fuel your creative drive. Here are just a few:
THE VAULT
Short for "Visual Arts Underground for Learning Technologies," the VAULT features all-new digital spaces such as an animation studio, editing bays, computer labs, a dual monitor lab and stop-motion studio, plus a gaming lounge for students to gather and play or show off their work. These digital spaces are useful for students in a range of majors. Spacious Fine Arts classrooms and studios for sculpture, ceramics, plaster, as well as a kiln room and glaze room, also feature multiple dedicated spaces for artwork display.
CONNELLY LIBRARY
Relax, read and research your way through a 50,000+ piece collection of journals, art books, magazines and archival materials in our newly redesigned, 21st-century library, featuring extensive online access to resources from around the world.
FAB LAB
The Fab Lab's 3D printers, laser cutter and engraver, digital embroidery machine and CNC Router provide advanced technology for creating a variety of objects.
PRINT CENTER
A great place for printing large-format print jobs, right here on campus.
MARGARET MINIK WRITERS STUDIO
A comfortable place for you to learn, write and meet with peers and professional writing staff.
MATERIALS LIBRARY
This room is filled with books of fabric and finishes in a variety of colors and styles that will fuel your imagination.

Ground Floor
Our Ground Floor hosts many lounge and dining spaces, including the Dining Hall, Fox Commons and Jane's Corner, right next to the Moore Café. It's also where you'll find large gathering spaces like Graham Auditorium and the Great Hall. And don't forget the six public exhibition spaces of The Galleries at Moore, plus the Student Run Gallery.
Sarah Peter Hall
Many classes are held in Sarah Peter Hall, which connects directly with Wilson Hall via the ground and fourth floors. On the first floor, you'll spend a lot of time researching and writing in the Connelly Library and Margaret Minik Writers Studio. Head to the third floor to check out the Materials Library, and the sixth floor to visit the Fab Lab and Photo Cage.
The VAULT
In the VAULT, you'll find our Print Center, Fine Arts studios and maker spaces, and digital labs and studios for everything from animation to digital illustration and film and game editing. It's a place to get your hands dirty, to geek out with friends, and to decompress. It's also where our IT Department works.
Stahl Hall
In addition to hosting residences on campus (our other residence hall is Sartain, located a block away from the main campus on Cherry Street), you'll find Student Affairs, Student Health Services and the Resource Pantry on the ground floor—very noteworthy. Also, it's where you pick up your student ID and your mail!
