Moore College of Art & Design’s Diversity Committee hosted a community discussion titled “Uncomfortable Talks: Microaggressions” on November 18, 2021 in Fox Commons.

Dafna Steinberg is a 2nd-year MFA student in the Socially Engaged Studio Art program. She is a lens-based artist originally from Washington, DC. Her work embodies themes such as grief, personal intimacy and gender. Dafna’s MFA in Progress exhibit is on view November 20–30 in The Galleries at Moore.

Starting in 2021, Moore College of Art & Design is executing various renovation and construction projects that will allow us to better meet the evolving needs of future generations of artists, designers, scholars and educators.

Lauren Stichter traveled to Breckenridge, CO the first weekend of November to give the keynote address at the Colorado Art Education Association 2021 Conference and to tell the story of her own path in the field of art education, as well as the new online track of Moore’s MA in Art Education with an Emphasis in Inclusive Practices.

Katy Molinaro is a 2nd-year MFA student in the Socially Engaged Art program. They are an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Philadelphia. Katy's MFA in Progress exhibition is on view November 6-13 in The Galleries at Moore.

ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge honors higher education institutions, educators and students who increased student voter engagement during the 2020 elections. Moore received the 2021 Platinum Seal.
