Dear Moore students, faculty and staff:

In accordance with the City of Philadelphia’s All Clear COVID Response Level, announced earlier today, and recent changes to CDC guidelines around masking, Moore College of Art & Design is ending our current campus mask mandate for all students, faculty, staff and campus visitors, effective immediately.

Given our campus-wide 98% vaccination rate, Moore College of Art & Design continues to be a safe environment for learning and working. We understand fully that some students and employees will choose to continue to wear masks for personal or health-related reasons. We expect and encourage everyone in our community to be respectful and understanding of each other’s choices regarding masks in the months ahead.

In addition, the College is ending current campus restrictions on eating and drinking. Refreshments will now be allowed at public programs and events. In addition, faculty and staff may use the Dining Hall and other areas on campus to eat and drink.

We are grateful for our entire community’s continued vigilance and commitment to campus health and safety throughout the waves of the COVID-19 Delta and Omicron variants. We are hopeful for a continued safe and normal spring semester, and we will alert you of any changes to campus regulations as they might arise.

Best Wishes,
Cecelia Fitzgibbon
