On the invitation and promotional materials for Moore’s 2026 Senior Show, colorful luggage tags boast an array of destinations, from New York City to Tokyo. The design by Morgan Riley '26, a Graphic Design senior at Moore, was selected to represent the show through an annual process that begins with a class assignment.

Riley and her classmates each came up with a design for the show in the course Professional Practices in Graphic Design, taught by Chair of Communication Arts and Professor of Graphic Design Gigi McGee. Riley tried out a number of concepts before deciding on the theme of departure.

“I designed this year’s senior show as a bon voyage to the Class of 2026, marking our departure into a new chapter of our lives,” Riley said. “It celebrates not only this transition, but also the many exciting destinations our work may lead us to.”

Having completed her guaranteed internship at Moore with the Philadelphia Zoo, Riley plans to work for the organization on a freelance basis after graduation as she builds a career in branding, package and web design.

Riley’s own exhibition in the Senior Show is an exploration of memory and family. “My thesis is based on the multidimensionality of memories,” said Riley of the work, “The Landscape of a Memory.” The piece presents photographs and handwriting layered into transparent materials, both suspended from the ceiling in three-dimensional forms and compiled as pages of a book. “It’s all about my memories and my childhood, and the things that have brought me to where I am now, and paying homage to that before I step out and fully become a professional,” she said.

The 2026 Senior Show is presented in two installments and is free and open to the public. Visit The Galleries at Moore Monday through Saturday, 11 am–5 pm.
