Moore Animation Club Debutes First Short Film

The Moore Animation Club, a chapter of Women in Animation (WIA), debuted their first short film in September. The film was created during the club’s summer Anijam and follows characters Bluuberry Muff'n and Appl' Crumbl' on their quest to buy a summer beverage called “The Big Quench.”

PAX Unplugged Puts Students in the Game

Animation & Game Arts sophomores recently had the opportunity to attend PAX Unplugged, a convention dedicated to tabletop gaming and board games, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

During their trip, students learned more about the tabletop gaming industry, meet with artists and attended lectures on gaming.

Virtual Visits with Industry Leaders

Animation & Game Arts welcomed several representatives from major studios for virtual classroom visits throughout the semester. In October, representatives from Velan Game Studios in New York spoke with students about internship opportunities and life working in a studio.

In November, students also connected with a representative from DreamWorks in California. The representative talked to students about post-college programs and roles available in a large animation studio.
