Financial Aid and Funded Study Abroad Experiences

100% of Moore students receive some form of financial assistance, support that makes an exceptional art and design education more accessible.

Our Financial Aid team creates personalized aid packages that include need-based grants and merit-based scholarships like the Visionary Honors Program, which awards high-achieving students $100,000 over four years. Students can also apply for fellowships to fund their travel, leadership or internship goals.

Building on our commitment to transformative student opportunities, Moore now offers the Global Scholars Program, which fully funds international trips for distinguished students. 44 percent of employers stated they are more likely to hire a candidate with global learning experience*, so we designed Global Scholars to strengthen both artistic perspective and industry-specific skills through immersive world travel.

A Strong Financial Foundation

Moore is proud to be a financially healthy institution with the resources to provide meaningful support to all students. Here are the facts:

  • Thanks to an endowment per student ranked in the top 18% nationally and an annual budget surplus for 24 consecutive years, we can continually invest in our students and campus.
  • Moore was among the top three colleges for financial viability in a 2024 Philadelphia Inquirer analysis of small, private colleges and universities in the region.
  • Moore was also recognized by The Philadelphia Business Journal in 2024 for its application and enrollment growth over the last 10 years.

Housing That Feels Like Home

Moore is one of the only art and design colleges in the nation to guarantee four years of housing to all students, placing them steps away from classrooms, studios, essential amenities and cultural landmarks.

Our students live across three conveniently located dorms:

  • Stahl Hall: Connected to Moore's main buildings and features updated bathrooms in every suite, as well as a penthouse lounge with a kitchenette and TV.
  • Sartain Hall: Located one block from campus and features single, double and quadruple rooms, as well as a first-floor lounge.
  • Rittenhouse Hall: Moore's newest residence hall in Rittenhouse Square, highlighted by luxury apartment-style living, in-unit laundry and central air conditioning. Rittenhouse Hall is primarily for juniors and seniors.
