Iliana Flores

Flores is a 2023 graduate of Moore, where they majored in Graphic Design and served as the president of the Student Government Association. Outside of continuing to work with Moore as a recently elected Board Manager, they are a freelance graphic designer for the Philadelphia Eagles.


Richard Harrington

Richard Harrington

Harrington is a professor of Illustration at Moore, and has been a professional illustrator and artist for over 30 years. His work has ranged from comic strips and graphic novels to exacting medical and technical illustrations. Originally from Utica, NY, Harrington received a BFA in illustration from Syracuse University in 1982. His work has been featured in many different exhibitions and galleries, including the Society of Illustrators in New York and Los Angeles, the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA and the Woodmere Museum in Philadelphia. He is the president of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, and a signature member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society. He lives in Newtown, PA and has been represented by the Artists’ Gallery in Lambertville, NJ since 2008. Harrington is currently working on Cereal, a graphic novel project he created with writer Don Steinberg. Issue #1 was released in 2023, and #2 is slated for publication in January 2024.


Stephen Wood

Stephen Wood

Wood is Moore’s chair of Time/Motion Arts and associate professor of Animation & Game Arts, a fantasy illustrator and an all-around self-described “super nerd.” Originally from Minnesota, he transplanted to Philadelphia in 2014 to teach at Moore. His work can be seen in tabletop roleplaying games such as Shadowrun, Scarred Lands, Fantasy Age, Pugmire and many others. In 2019, Wood released his first fully self-published tabletop roleplaying game, WildLands, in which players control critters such as mice, rabbits and badgers as they adventure through a high fantasy setting. In his free time, Wood loves to draw and paint fantasy imagery, play with his cat Xena and occasionally go urban fishing in the Philadelphia area. Jim “Kofi” Sarfo

Assistant Professor, Animation & Game Arts

Jim Kofi Sarfo

Sarfo is a Delaware-based freelance 2D animator who has worked on projects such as Cops and Robbers on Netflix, Viceland's Party Legends and music videos such as "Best Part" by The Score. When he is not animating or teaching, he is an avid techie, interested in all the newest smart devices and PC components. He also creates most of the music for his personal animations. He has built several PCs and spends a lot of time striving for the ultimate animation/gaming/music/editing workspace for his personal studio (an ever-fleeting dream).


Christopher Adam Williams

Assistant Professor, Illustration & Foundation

Christopher Williams 

Williams is a visual artist whose practice utilizes portraiture and figurative painting to convey complex narratives, including that of race and gender. Born in Oakland, CA, his current studio base is located in New Jersey, where he resides with his wife. He was the Root Division 2021–2022 Black Artist Fellow, and his work was featured extensively on the second and third seasons of Showtime’s The L Word: Generation Q. His drawings, paintings and films have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions, museums and galleries, including Tunnels of the Mind (Times Square, NY), Crocker Art Museum (Sacramento, CA), Spark+Echo Arts (New York, NY), My Studio Gallery (Sacramento, CA) and The Golden 1 Center (Sacramento, CA). His art practice focuses on Black Joy, a spiritual feeling that has uplifted the African Diaspora through countless trials and tribulations in the quest for freedom and equity. Williams received his BFA and MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, where he was awarded Best in Show, MFA. He was a 2022 AICAD Fellow, the 2020 winner of the Black Artists Fund’s Sower Award and a finalist for the Headlands Center for the Arts Graduate Fellowship. Regina Benasutti

Associate Dean of Academic Services & Institutional Research

Regina Benasutti

Prior to joining Moore in June 2023, Benasutti spent 12 years at Delaware Valley University, where she began her career in higher education. There, she began in a financial aid role and then served as director of institutional research, as well as executive director of institutional research and effectiveness, eventually overseeing the institutional research, accreditation, assessment and planning functions for the university. Prior to starting in higher education, she spent 15 years in corporate human resources. Benasutti holds an EdD in educational leadership with a concentration in higher education leadership from Delaware Valley University, a Master’s in business administration from Saint Joseph’s University and a BS in business administration/marketing from Gwynedd-Mercy University.


Kendyl Boyd

Admissions Counselor

Kendyl Boyd

Boyd is originally from northern New Jersey and received her BFA in Art Education from Moore in 2021. Before returning to her alma mater as an admissions counselor, she worked in local Philadelphia art museums and as an assistant elementary school teacher. She is no stranger to the Moore Admissions Office, having worked as a student ambassador for three years during her time in the undergraduate program. She recently served a two-year term as an elected member of the Board of Managers at Moore, representing alumni voices and contributing to the governance and strategic direction of the College. Beyond her contributions in art education and arts administration, Boyd is a multifaceted creative and practicing artist, and her work has been shown in galleries and museums in Portland, OR and in Brooklyn and New York, NY. She is passionate about facilitating access for young people to artistic and educational opportunities, especially bolstering girls and women—a most favorite part of the work she does in her current role.


Michelle Brennan

Michelle Brennan

Brennan joins Moore from Arcadia University where she served as the director of marketing, university marketing and communications. Before Arcadia, she served as the director of marketing, university enrollment, marketing and communications at La Salle University. She has held multiple marketing and communications roles throughout the higher education, healthcare, nonprofit and media industries. Brennan has a BA from La Salle University and is currently pursuing an MS in business systems and analytics. She is very excited to join the team at Moore and to be part of such an amazing artistic community.


Sristi Chanda

Academic Affairs Executive Assistant

Sristi Chanda

Chanda is a proud alumna of Moore College of Art & Design who graduated in 2017 with a BFA in Interior Design. She returned to Philadelphia and to Moore in 2023 in a bid to combine her creativity alongside her passion for education and youth empowerment in a professional capacity. She has experience in fitness facility management, interior design, graphic design and marketing. She is also certified in advanced personal training and fitness business management. Chanda enjoys dancing, focusing on mental health, physical wellbeing and content creation. She is also excited to reinvent herself as an artist in the place where she feels most at home.


Marisol de la Garza

Bilingual Admissions Counselor

Marisol de la Garza

Originally from San Antonio, TX, de la Garza is a Puerto Rican and Chicanx artist who holds two degrees from the University of Southern California, one in cognitive science and the other in art. She has completed 17 Chicanx murals since she began working with nonprofits at age 16. Outside of Moore, she enjoys collaborating with organizations like Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Porch Light program and the National Association of Latinx Arts and Cultures’ Flamboyan Arts Fund. Her personal arts practice uses large-scale painting, editorial design, printmaking and indigenous clays to explore geopolitics, myth and environmental behavior. Her favorite artists are Saturnino Herran, Theaster Gates, Beatriz Cortez and Rafa Esparza.


Ash Garner

Continuing Education Program Coordinator

Ash Garner

As an arts administrator and practicing interdisciplinary artist, Garner brings experience and skills from her previous positions in visitor services, sales, curatorial and programming at the Fabric Workshop and Museum, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), Center for Emerging Visual Artists, Artist & Craftsman Supply and more. Originally from Central Pennsylvania, Garner received her BFA from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest Edinboro) in 2014 and her MFA from PAFA in 2020. She is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in soft sculpture and installation, creating works that interrupt expectations of a place, thing or idea. She has attended artist residencies at the Studios at MASS MoCA, Chautauqua Visual Arts and the Walkaway House in North Adams, MA. Her work has been exhibited at many museums, galleries and institutions across the country, including Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (Smithsonian Institution), Moravian University, Lycoming College Gallery, Atelier FAS Gallery, PAFA, Cherry Street Pier, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Erie Art Museum and many more. In her spare time, Garner has built a handmade plush brand/entity, THECOLORG, focused on creating unique and custom plush for people of all ages.


Ahyana King

Mental Health Counselor

Ahyana King

King’s professional career spans 17 years, serving in higher education and partnering with people on their mental health journeys as a licensed professional counselor. She has worked with nonprofit community organizations in the greater Philadelphia area, and as a counselor and administrator in higher education on both US coasts. She has provided counseling, designed programs, taught courses, written curriculum and facilitated workshops on the topics of social justice, belonging, cultivating community and mental health. When she is not serving the Moore community, she is partnering with Black and Brown women and girls in the greater Philadelphia area as they navigate their wellness journey, or recruiting family and friends to join her for good eats at local restaurants, watching basketball or traveling.


Katherine Tancredi

Associate Director of Advancement Communications

Katherine Tancredi

Tancredi comes to Moore with a diverse background in communications. She started her career in media relations, placing stories in national and local media markets for nonprofit clients. More recently, she has provided internal marketing and communications services for a range of small businesses, including a pelvic floor physical therapy office where she helped to raise awareness for women’s health issues via digital marketing campaigns and media outreach. Tancredi is a longtime Philadelphia resident and graduated from Temple University with a BA in strategic and organizational communications with a focus in public relations. She is excited to work with Moore’s Advancement team to help support communications with Moore’s vibrant alumni community. When she’s not working, she loves practicing yoga, spending time with her son and taking walks with her miniature dachshund, Oscar.


Amanda Zeilinger

2D Studio Technician

Amanda Zeilinger

Zeilinger grew up in Cleveland, OH and went to Carleton College in Minnesota, where she majored in studio art and art history with a focus on digital photography for both majors. She has since worked in Carleton's studio art department, a ceramic tile-making studio and Philadelphia's Magic Gardens. Her own photography has been shown in galleries in Minneapolis and Philadelphia. Zeilinger moved to Philadelphia just over two years ago to be closer to family and to escape Minnesota winters, and she sees herself in the city for the foreseeable future. When she’s not at work, she's probably cooking for friends, dog-sitting or prepping for an art market in the city.
