PHILADELPHIA (April 23, 2026)—For decades, Moore College of Art & Design ("Moore") has provided a stage for the next generation of fashion talent in Philadelphia. The 2026 Fashion Show continues this tradition on Thursday, May 7, 2026. The show begins at 7:30 pm at The Franklin Institute, giving seniors in the Fashion Design program a professional debut as they complete an intensive, four-year course of study and step confidently into their careers.
The sophisticated evening affair provides a high-visibility platform for the Fashion Design seniors’ original collections. This talented group of graduating students are eager to share their work with the audience of artists and designers, Moore alumni, and supporters of Philadelphia’s creative community. The Fashion Show will delight with a theatrically staged runway showcase featuring live models and held in the soaring main rotunda of The Franklin Institute.
The event also highlights alumni success: Erin Partlow ’25, whose work debuted in last year’s show, was selected to design President Cathy Young’s outfit for this year’s event. In addition, eveningwear and menswear designed by selected junior students will complement the spotlight on seniors.
“Our annual Fashion Show is a powerful illustration of what’s possible when students are supported in pursuing their creative ambitions. It represents an investment in their future and the broader creative community, as these designers prepare to shape the industry in meaningful ways,” said Cathy Young, president, Moore College of Art & Design. “We are proud to see our students step into that space, equipped not only with talent, but also with the perspective, resilience and versatility to build lasting careers.”
This year’s show spotlights the following seniors:
- Ensaam Farraj, who transforms identity into sculptural art that reflects Palestinian heritage
- Willow Gehman, who explores environmental themes through innovative fabric manipulation and embellishment
- Greta Hartman, who examines femininity and the female form through striking silhouettes
- Krysta Marina Peters, who blends inspirations from nature and music into immersive designs
- Lonnette Delora Wiley, who merges fashion and narrative to explore personal and spiritual transformation
Each student approached their senior collection with dedication and vision, producing work that reflects a unique aesthetic and voice. Their time at Moore combined rigorous, hands-on classroom training with professional development experiences in internships and fellowships, allowing them to build the skills and connections to succeed in the industry.
“Moore’s Fashion Design program asks students to engage deeply with both concept and construction. These collections reflect that intensive process, one that challenges students to think critically and execute their ideas with precision,” said Claudine Thomas, chief academic officer & academic dean, Moore College of Art & Design. “What makes the Fashion Show especially significant is the level of exposure it creates. Students present their work to professionals who can open doors, offer insight and respond to their ideas in real time. That kind of experience is invaluable, and it’s a defining opportunity as they enter the industry.”
The 2026 Fashion Show includes a runway presentation and a VIP event for donors. Proceeds from the evening support the College’s mission, funding scholarships for future students across all majors.
