Fox 29 and 6 ABC visited Moore College of Art & Design's campus for Move-In Day on Saturday, August 17.
Reporters spoke with Moore president Cathy Young, former UArts students and their families as they received a warm welcome at Moore for the beginning of the academic year. Young spoke about her hopes and plans for new students as they connect with faculty, alumni and each other.
"With that closing [of University of the Arts], we're the only independent art and design college in Philadelphia, and we take that role really seriously," she said. "Our job is to educate the future creators and innovators who are going to shape our world."
