Moore students showcased their artistic talents at the annual Halloween costume contest.

Students, faculty and staff gathered in The Great Hall and Fox Commons for a delicious lunch, music, and a runway show of extraordinary costumes made and worn by students. More than 250 students participated in the festivities while 30 students competed for awards, with their peers cheering them on as they walked the stage.

The judging panel for the contest consisted of Moore President Cathy Young, Dean of Students Joshua Wilkin, Fashion Design Program Head Camille Avent, and Interdisciplinary Associate Professor Heather Ujiie.

After a final deliberation, the judges made their decisions:

Overall Best Costume: Circe Atkinson as the Queen of Hearts

Best Group Costume: Sydney Acevedo, Laura Sherman, Bella Greco, Jasper Martinez and Lauren Granteed as the Teen Titans

Funniest Costume: Will Sederstrom as Windows 93

Most Creative Costume: Ace Tamargo as Nochnoi

Scariest Costume: Kayla Kruemmling as Amanda Young from Saw

Best Costume: AJ Durden as Harley Quinn

Most Original Costume: Lex Ford as Spamton G. Spamton

Best Couples Costume: Zakara Wharran and Jenna Johnson as My Little Pony Princesses
