Moore College of Art & Design Graphic Design students and recent graduates continue to distinguish themselves outside the College. See how they're building professional momentum and earning national recognition through juried competitions and publications during the 2025–2026 academic year:

Society of Publication Designers Student Competition

April Beall '28 was recognized as a Noteworthy Award winner in the Society of Publication Designers' annual national student competition. SPD sets the standard for editorial excellence, and its student competition recognizes the best in student editorial design each year.

The Real Show 2026

Five Moore students were honored in The Real Show 26, a nationally recognized juried student design competition that challenges college students to solve real-life communication design problems with real projects and real deadlines. Kalea Fugate '28 and Bailee Kates '28 received Silver awards, and April Beall '28, Kiley Magee '28 and Brielle Rosado '28 received Merit awards for their editorial design work.

Creative Quarterly 83

Moore students and alumni took home multiple honors in the 83rd competition held by Creative Quarterly, an international journal promoting the best work in graphic design, illustration, photography and fine art. Winners are showcased in the journal's printed Annual, with winners and runners-up featured online.

Nio Gasataya '27 (Mokutan Mizu) and Autumn Wood '27 (Breathe) were named winners, as were recent graduates Morgan Riley '26 (Sprouts Rebrand) and Nyvia Dennis '26 (Glossier Rebrand), whose projects were also selected as runners-up. Brooke Boileau '27 (Boozi) and Devon Murillo '27 (Bayonne Feral Cat Foundation) were named runners-up, and Emilee DeFrancesco '27 (74 Seconds) was a finalist.

GDUSA American Package Design Awards

Brooke Boileau '27 (Sade album packaging), Nio Gasataya '27 (Mokutan Mizu sustainable packaging) and Autumn Wood '27 (Breathe, an exhibition for the act of breathing) were selected as winners in Graphic Design USA's 63rd annual American Package Design Awards. From more than 2,500 entries, only the top 10 percent were selected. GDUSA has been a source of news and information for graphic designers and the broader creative community since 1963.
