With winter break underway, we’re taking a look back we’re taking a look at the ways Moore College of Art & Design students and recent graduates distinguished themselves through accomplishments outside the College. See how Moore students are building professional momentum and earning recognition in their fields through juried competitions, scholarships, conferences and national publications:

UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

Graphic Design    

Madison Quinones '26 was featured on media platform Dieline for her package design for a conceptual soup brand.

Designs by Autumn Wood '27 and Vivien Kalman '27 were selected as noteworthy entires in the 2025 Society of Publication Designers Student Competition.

Rylee Wilson ’26 was selected for participation in Locally Sourceda creative competition for students in the Mid-Atlantic region held by AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Design) Philadelphia. 

Brook Bolieu 27 won the logo competition for the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association’s annual conference. 

Morgan Riley ’26 placed first and third and Bucky Garbrick ’26 placed second in the Roosevelt Paper 2026 Calendar Competition.

Malayna DiPlacido ’26 won first place in a Philadelphia Eagles poster contest held by AIGA Philadelphia. 

Interior Design

Michaela Simon ’26 received the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH) Clifford R. Tuttle $5,000 Scholarship for interior design students who focus on hospitality design. She was presented with the award at the Hospitality Design Circle Gala in November. 

Tessa Bernhard ’26 received the NEWH Chapter Scholarship for the Atlantic City/Philadelphia region in October. 

GRADUATE STUDIES

Art Education

Felisa Adderley MA 27 appeared on a panel at the 2025 Pennsylvania Art Education Association Conference in OctoberTara Ferrell MA 25, Lily Laura MA 25, Maria Chambers-Goldberg MA 25 and Ashlyn Ringenary BFA ’23, MA 25 presented their research at the conference after graduating from Moore at the end of the summer. 

Laura and Chambers-Goldberg also presented their thesis work at the 2025 Middle States Commission on Higher Education Annual Conference in December.
