There’s no better way to experience Moore than to be one of our students for a day!
With this unique overnight experience, students will have the opportunity to visit our campus for an afternoon, stay overnight with a Moore host student, and then attend a Moore college course on Monday morning. We will do our best to accommodate your major of interest with a course selection, but if a major-specific class is not offered during the designated time, you will have an opportunity to experience a first year Foundation course.
Sunday:
- 6:00pm- Students arrive
- 6:30pm- Art Activity (Screen Printing)
- 7:30pm- Pizza in Sartain Lounge
- 8:00pm- Movie in Auditorium
- 10:30pm- Meet up with Hosts & Room Assignments
Monday:
- 8:00am- Breakfast with Host in Dining Hall
- 8:30am- Class visit begins (escorted by host)
- 11:20am- Class visit ends
- 11:30am- Lunch in Dining Hall
- 12:30pm- Optional tour
- 1:00pm- Sneak Preview Ends
This special program is only offered to students, who have been accepted at Moore and are currently high school seniors or transfer students.
If you’re interested in joining us to experience our Moore community first-hand, please complete and submit the registration form below. Once we receive your submission, our Campus Visit Coordinator will contact you to confirm your scheduled visit and answer any additional questions. Confirmation is required for this event. Recommended packing for the event includes: sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, jacket/sweater/change of clothes, mat for under sleeping bag (optional), and a sketchbook/pencil/markers (optional).
Arrival date: Sunday, February 16, 6 pm, Students arrive at Moore at the main entrance.
Event ends: Monday, February 17, 12:30 pm, Students should arrange for transportation home.
Optional: Tours will be available for students from 12:30 to 1:30. If you would like to schedule a tour, please contact Cameryn Downey, our Campus Visit Coordinator, at cdowney@moore.edu or 215.965.4018. Families are welcome to join their students on a tour.
