When Oct 22 6:00 PM

Heat up dinner and hop on Zoom for a virtual presentation on October 22 at 6 p.m. by Graphic Design Professor Gigi McGee.

This year, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and McGee has recently returned from a sabbatical in which she created a poster series celebrating women's right to vote. The series explores three conceptual directions: historic photographs, metaphorical imagery using graphic illustrations combined with engravings of images related to the time period, and a series of compositions highlighting a selection of important individuals who fought the battle for suffrage.
