Keynote Speaker:
Jamie Gordon Brust
Jamie’s unique background makes her an incredibly successful, savvy businesswoman. After receiving her degree in Interior Design from Moore College of Art & Design, she worked as Project Manager and Lead Designer for Aramark before becoming the Architecture and Design Manager for a Global Ergonomics Company.
With her lifelong independent streak combined with a strong work ethic, Jamie knew she wanted to work for herself. After deciding to start a career in real estate, she was able to combine her interior design and project management skills to become an award-winning agent. Along with her wife, Brigit, she owns SPACE & COMPANY, a boutique independent real estate brokerage with offices in Philadelphia and Asbury Park, NJ.
Through her work as both a real estate agent and an interior designer, Jamie kept stumbling upon properties that had unbelievable structure in fantastic locations that just needed some elbow-grease and a vision. Her company, Harlow Grey Homes, is a collection of seven luxury Airbnbs homes throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey that Jamie rehabbed and designed herself.
Jamie knew that the unique combinations of skills that she sharpened through those major renovations was something that was missing on job sites. She created a design and build concept development firm, Jamie Ford, where she brings her knowledge and years of experience in sales, construction, interior design, and business development to every project — by leveraging this combination of skill sets, Jamie is able to create the unique and outstanding interior architectural design that she’s known for.
Never one to pass up an amazing opportunity, Jamie’s current project is the redevelopment of The St. Laurent, the last remaining of Asbury Park’s four original hotels. The new concept features a classic cocktail bar, restaurant, swim club, and twenty guest rooms — combined, these thoughtfully designed spaces create the backdrop for a curated experience tailored with intentionality that will open for business in Summer 2022.
