Mentorship Mixer; 5:30 – 7 PM

Join us to celebrate our first cohort of mentors and mentees in the Moore Success Network and UELO Project Mentorship pathways. This event will highlight the meaningful connections that have developed between alumni and students throughout the year. Whether you're a seasoned mentor, a past mentee, or an alum interested in learning more about the program, come enjoy an evening of networking, inspiration, and community-building as we continue to support and empower the next generation of artists and designers.

Early Bird Public Art Walk; 8 – 9:30 AM

Enjoy a guided walking tour with Alumni Council President Mary Jennings ’88 and experience public art along the Parkway. The tour will depart from Moore’s entrance at 8 AM.

Brunch; 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Celebrate with our landmark year alumni as we commemorate their 5th, 10th, 25th, and 50th reunions. Join us for a special brunch featuring remarks from President Cathy Young and a panel discussion moderated by Lauren Stichter, Director of Art Education and award-winning educator. The panel will feature alumni from our one-of-a-kind MA in Art Education with an Emphasis in Inclusive Practices program as they reflect on their experiences and share insights from the field, all in celebration of the program’s 15th anniversary.

Landmark Reunion alumni (Classes of ’75, ’00, ’15, and ’20) are our honored guests at this special gathering—enjoy complimentary admission to brunch and a thought-provoking panel discussion. All class years are welcome to attend.

Student-Led Campus Tour; 12:45 – 1:45 PM

Experience the campus you know and love from a fresh perspective with our student-led tours. Our enthusiastic guides will lead you through familiar sights, sharing their unique insights and stories along the way.

Activating the Archive with Dr. Maya Pindyck PhD; 2 – 4 PM

This creative writing workshop directly engages the Connelly Library’s archive of images of Moore College of Art & Design. Participants are encouraged to bring images to contribute to the archive, which will be used to prompt memories of Moore. The workshop includes both collaborative, intergenerational writing activities and personal forms of writing. Together, we will write from and with Moore’s archive, activating it with memories and fresh language. No experience with creating writing required.

Hands in Time: A Casting Workshop with Fina Grimes ’21; 2 – 4 PM

Capture the beauty and detail of hands in this immersive workshop. Guided by Moore’s 3D Technician, you’ll create a lifelike plaster sculpture using skin-safe molding materials. The workshop includes step-by-step instruction, from creating your mold to refining and finishing your cast. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed—just wear comfortable clothing that can get messy!

Plein Air on the Square; 2 – 4 PM

Partnering with Moore’s student Plein Air Club, this workshop invites you to immerse yourself in the art of observation and capture the beauty of Rittenhouse Square in springtime. Explore the park’s blooming scenery through self-guided painting or drawing. Bring your own portable art supplies in your favorite medium or experiment with something new—whether it’s watercolors, pastels, or even a digital tablet.

Conversation with Dana Donaty ‘88; 4:30 – 6:30 PM

Join us for an engaging conversation between Florida-based, multimedia artist Dana Donaty ’88 and MFA artist and Advancement Officer Terry Norton-Wright as they explore Donaty’s vibrant, maximalist works. With humor and playfulness, Donaty weaves personal and political narratives that celebrate the strength, magic, and beauty of living in a female body while confronting the iniquities of trauma, aging, health, and disabilities. After the talk, chat with the artist and experience her new body of work in the Alumni Gallery.

This event will take place in person and on Zoom, allowing remote participants to join the discussion and reception no matter where you are.

Press On: Celebrating 15 Years of BYO Printmaking Collaborative; 7 – 9 PM

Join us to celebrate BYO Print’s 15th anniversary and the opening of its new location in the Old City arts district. Now the Penthouse occupant of the Paradigm Arts Building, BYO Print is dedicated to fostering collaboration between artists and printmakers through access to community workspace. Co-directed by Moore alumni Katie VanVliet ’07, Lauren Fischer ’07, and Lisa Imperiale ‘09, the studio provides access to equipment, artist residencies, internships, and more. Enjoy refreshments, a hands-on block printing activity, and a behind-the-scenes tour of the space.
