Financial Aid for Graduate Programs

Moore offers Graduate Scholarship funding to support graduate candidates enrolled in our program. Students must maintain full-time status to be eligible for a Scholarship. Please speak to our director of Financial Aid to determine eligibility before our priority deadline on April 15. All eligible accepted students will receive up to $20,000 per year for the MA in Art Education with Certification, up to $10,000 total for the MA in Education without Certification and Post-Baccalaureate programs.

Scholarship functions similarly to undergraduate scholarships. Scholarship is applied directly toward tuition.

There are no additional applications to be considered for Graduate Scholarship. All accepted applicants will be automatically considered by the Graduate Scholarship Committee.

Students enrolled in a program beginning in the summer should file a FAFSA for both years. For example, students beginning in the summer of 2023 should file both the 2022-2023 FAFSA and the 2023-2024 FAFSA.

Students enrolled in a program beginning in the fall should only file a FAFSA for the upcoming year. For example, students beginning in the fall of 2023 should file ONLY the 2023-2024 FAFSA.

FAFSA filings open on January 1. Early filing is highly encouraged.

All returning students should submit the 2023-2024 FAFSA by May 1, 2023.

Once Financial Aid receives your FAFSA, they may need to contact you to submit further documentation in order to accept your loans.

Complete your FAFSA application here. The FAFSA is a FREE application.

Moore College’s FAFSA code is 003300. For example for fall 2023, FAFSA will refer to your 2021 tax filing. Students are encouraged to use the IRS tax transfer tool to easily transfer your tax filing. Once we receive your FAFSA, you will receive a financial aid award letter.

After receiving your financial aid letter, please schedule an appointment to meet with our financial aid office here.

Moore College of Art & Design participates in the Federal Direct Loan programs. A full-time student in the Masters program is eligible for up to $20,500 of federal loans per academic year. A full-time Post-Baccalaureate student is eligible for up to $12,500 of federal loans per academic year.

The remaining balance after all funding can either be paid out of pocket, paid through a Graduate Plus Loan, or through private loans. Only graduate students in the Masters program are eligible for a Grad Plus Loan.

First-time borrowers at Moore College of Art & Design will be required to complete online entrance counseling and MPN. As part of default prevention, the federal government requires all students to complete this counseling and MPN before the institution can disburse any Federal Direct Loan proceeds. Graduate students must re-file the FAFSA each year they wish to borrow federal student loans. More complete information about financial aid programs may be obtained from the Financial Aid Office at
