Benefits We Certify

Moore College of Art & Design certifies enrollment for multiple VA education benefit programs. Our School Certifying Official can help you determine which program fits your situation.

Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33)

Up to 36 months of education benefits for individuals who served on active duty after September 11, 2001. Covers tuition, fees, and provides a housing allowance.

Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 30)

Up to 36 months of education benefits for veterans who contributed to the program during active duty service.

Veteran Readiness & Employment (Chapter 31)

Formerly Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment, this program supports veterans with service-connected disabilities in exploring employment and education options.

Survivors' & Dependents' (Chapter 35)

Education and training opportunities for eligible dependents and survivors of veterans with service-connected disabilities or who died in service.

Selected Reserve (Chapter 1606)

Education and training benefits for members of the Selected Reserve, including the Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, and National Guard.

Transferred Benefits (TEB)

Service members who have transferred their Post-9/11 GI Bill® benefits to eligible dependents—spouses and children can use them at Moore.

How to Get Started

Getting your VA education benefits set up at Moore is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth enrollment process.

 

Apply for VA Education Benefits

If you haven't already, apply for your education benefits through the VA at va.gov/education/how-to-apply.

 

Submit Your Certificate of Eligibility

Provide your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or Statement of Benefits to Moore's VA School Certifying Official. You can obtain your COE from eBenefits or by contacting the VA.

 

Connect with Our VA Certifying Official

Reach out to confirm your enrollment certification each semester and resolve any questions about your benefits.

 

Submit Your FAFSA

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov. Moore's school code is 003300. You may qualify for additional aid.

 

Authorize Your Certification Request

Once you are enrolled at Moore and registered for your classes for the upcoming semester, complete the VA Benefits Certification Authorization Form.

Our Commitment to Veterans

Moore College of Art & Design is considered a Yellow Ribbon School. The College participates in matching additional institutional tuition assistance with benefits provided from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.

Moore will not impose any penalty, including the assessment of late fees, the denial of access to classes, libraries, or other institutional facilities, or the requirement that a covered individual borrow additional funds, on any covered individual because of the individual's inability to meet their financial obligations to the institution due to the delayed disbursement funding from VA under Chapter 31 or 33.
