Complete Your Health Form

  • All new students must schedule a wellness visit with their physician and complete Moore's designated health form by the required deadline.

Students without coverage will need to purchase Moore's insurance (or a comparable plan).

  • Health insurance information, costs and the link to the waiver system will be made available via Moodle on the New Student Guide.
  • Please note: If you do not have adequate coverage, or do not waive out, you will be automatically enrolled and billed for the insurance plan.

How do I access tuition bills?

Tuition bills are accessible online via Self-Service. Students can access Self-Service through their Moodle accounts. Detailed instructions about billing are reviewed during students' orientation sessions.

Bridge to Success Program

Students participating in the Bridge to Success Program are expected to be on campus early. Correspondence about dates and the program will be sent to students from their Admissions Counselors.

What to expect during our Summer Bridge to Success Programs:

  • Become familiar with college resources, including peer tutoring, mental health counselors, academic workshops, and your individual staff coach who will help you navigate your first year

  • Get to know Moore by touring campus, meeting professors and staff members, reviewing your curriculum plan, and meeting other students

  • Practice essential skills for college success, including time management, notetaking, and study skills

Books & Supplies

Department faculty may require additional books or supplies for your classes. Information on additional supplies will be included in your class syllabus. Your class syllabus can be accessed in Moodle a week before classes begin. Books and supplies may change each semester, so please budget accordingly.

*Please remember* Your class schedule for your first semester at Moore will only be finalized after you take your Writing Placement exam or after the Academic Advisor confirms your schedule is final.

Foundation Art Kit

The Foundation Department faculty worked alongside representatives from all majors to create the “Foundation Supply Kit”.

These kits are designed as a starting block for supplies used throughout your 4 years at Moore. The college has worked diligently with Blick Art Supplies to provide the best deal possible, containing the highest quality materials at the lowest cost. The Foundation Art Kit is anticipated to be around $465 (which is less than $70 per studio course). While the initial cost may seem expensive, remember that these supplies are discounted (up to 50% off retail value). Buying these same items out of pocket would almost double the cost of your supplies. Please note that this is a required purchase and should be budgeted as a necessary college expense. Representatives will be on-campus the first day of Clearance and Orientation to distribute these kits.
