Moore emails and the New Student Guide become available in May! Students should check their moore.edu email. The New Student Guide is located in the Moodle Account weekly after June 1.

All final high school and college official transcripts must be submitted, including any information on AP and IB exams by July 2.

Attend Pre-Orientation July through August. Pre-Orientation is a half-day event in which new students and their families come to campus to learn more about being a Moore student. You’ll learn about move-in, supporting your student, meet with financial aid & the Business Office, as well as get your college ID. All students and their families are encouraged to attend. Admissions Counselors will provide you with pre-orientation information upon enrollment.

Fall bills will be ready to review on self-service the first week of July and payment is due the first week of August.

HOUSING

Housing Information Packets distributed early March.
Priority Housing Registration Packet is due by June 1.

Room assignments sent via e-mail to Moore email accounts by June 15 (only students with completed housing agreements and paid housing deposits will receive a housing assignment). Housing Applications received after May 1 will receive housing assignments on a rolling basis.

HEALTH & WELLNESS
All students are required to have health insurance. If you are insured under a health plan, you will need to submit documentation of coverage and waive out of the plan offered by the College. Health insurance information, costs, and the link to the waiver system will be made available via Moodle on the New Student Guide. Students without coverage will need to purchase Moore’s insurance (or a comparable plan). Note, if you do not have adequate coverage, or do not waive out, you will be automatically enrolled and billed for the insurance plan.

All new students are required to complete a health form. You must see a doctor in order to fill out sections of this form, so be sure to make an appointment as soon as possible, as it can sometimes take several weeks or even a month to get an appointment.

Students will not be permitted to move in without cleared health forms and all final official high school and college transcripts, including but not limited to AP/IB Exams, dual enrollment and pre-college programs.
