Access Your Moore Email and New Student Guide on Moodle

  • Enrolled students will receive their Moore Student Email and Moodle Accounts for their use in Summer 2026. These accounts will be created for students on a rolling basis beginning in May.
  • New students should regularly check their Moore email account for important information once they receive it.

Complete Your Health Form

  • All new students must schedule a wellness visit with their physician and complete Moore's designated health form by the required deadline. We highly recommend scheduling your appointment as soon as possible, as wait times may vary and students are not able to move in without an approved health form.
  • Health Forms for Fall 2026 will be available in Spring 2026. If you are a student starting in the Fall 2026, please complete and submit your health form prior to Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
  • Completed health forms must be uploaded to your Student Portal.
  • For medical questions or concerns regarding Moore's health form, please contact us at healthservices@moore.edu. For any other related questions, please contact Admissions via email at enroll@moore.edu or via call/text (215.965.4427).

Student Health Insurance

All students are required to have health insurance and are automatically opted into our student health insurance. If you are already insured under a health plan, you will need to submit documentation of coverage and waive out of the plan offered by the college. Students without coverage will need to purchase Moore's insurance (or a comparable plan).

  • Health Insurance Waivers and Details will be released in Spring 2026 on the New Student Guide.
  • Please note: If you do not have adequate coverage, or do not waive out, you will be automatically enrolled and billed for the insurance plan.

Books & Supplies

Department faculty may require additional books or supplies for your classes. Information on additional supplies will be included in your class syllabus. Your class syllabus can be accessed in Moodle a week before classes begin. Books and supplies may change each semester, so please budget accordingly.

*Please remember* Your class schedule for your first semester at Moore will only be finalized after you take your Writing Placement exam or after the Academic Advisor confirms your schedule is final.

The primary Books & Supplies expense for first-year students will be the Foundation Art Kit.

Foundation Art Kit

The Foundation Department faculty worked alongside representatives from all majors to create the “Foundation Supply Kit”.

These kits are designed as a starting block for supplies used throughout your 4 years at Moore. The college has worked diligently with Blick Art Supplies to provide the best deal possible, containing the highest quality materials at the lowest cost. The Foundation Art Kit is anticipated to be around $465 (which is less than $70 per studio course). While the initial cost may seem expensive, remember that these supplies are discounted (up to 50% off retail value). Buying these same items out of pocket would almost double the cost of your supplies. Please note that this is a required purchase and should be budgeted as a necessary college expense. Representatives will be on-campus the first day of Clearance and Orientation to distribute these kits.

New Student Orientation

All students are required to attend New Student Orientation and Move-In in August 2026 (Official dates to be released in Fall 2025). Further details will be provided. Please reach out to Director for Student Affairs Corrine Smith at cnsmith@moore.edu with any questions. No registration is required.

How do I access tuition bills?

Tuition bills are accessible online via Self-Service. Students can access Self-Service through their Moodle accounts. Detailed instructions about billing are reviewed during students' orientation sessions.

Tuition bills will be available for students enrolled for Fall 2026 in Summer 2026. Prior to the release of tuition bills, students will have access to a Moore Financial Aid Offer Letter with estimated details of the cost of attendance.
