Timothy Belknap

Timothy Belknap earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago and further honed his craft with a Master of Fine Arts in sculpture from the Tyler School of Art. His artistic journey has been featured on WHYY's NewsWorks Tonight, showcasing his personal works displayed in exhibitions across Philadelphia and New York City.
In 2019, alongside his brother, Belknap established a fabrication studio where his expertise contributed to projects spanning museums, film, and television, showcasing his versatile talents in the realm of artistic creation.
Currently serving as the co-Director of the Icebox Project Space, Belknap oversees an avant-garde gallery focusing on experimental sound, video, and movement. In the past year, his directorial role involved curating and collaborating with over 100 artists, resulting in exhibitions that captured attention in esteemed publications like the Philadelphia Inquirer, New York Times, Philadelphia Citypaper, and ArtNews.
