A former student in Moore’s Young Artists Workshop, Terry Norton-Wright has returned to her roots as Moore’s Advancement Officer to help ensure students can continue benefiting from Moore’s creative environment and faculty, no matter their circumstances. Terry previously worked with the Entertainment Industry Foundation to further the campaigns of leading initiatives such as Stand Up To Cancer and Hunger Is by expanding donor relations, driving business development, and translating corporate marketing goals into a philanthropic context. She most recently was the Director of Development for CASA for Children, an organization that recruits, trains, and supports volunteer advocates for children in foster care and remains on their Board Advisory Council.
A published author and an interdisciplinary artist, Terry earned an MFA in interdisciplinary art from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles and a certificate from the writers’ program at UCLA. Terry creates multi-media work that spans performance, prose, and objects and is currently working on a creative nonfiction novel and a multi-media exhibition on death. Terry also holds a B.S. in Business Marketing from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
