Katherine Videira graduated from Temple University with a BS in Art Education. She is also an alum of Moore's MA in Art Education with an Emphasis in Special Populations program ('18), where she did her thesis work on the impact of art assessment on students with special needs in an inclusive classroom. She has presented her work on art assessment at multiple PAEA conferences and for professional development workshops. Katherine has taught art in inclusive non-profit and school settings since moving back to Philadelphia, and has begun her second year as the art teacher for a K-5 school in West Philadelphia. This year, she will be teaching her students virtually! This 2020-21 academic year will mark Katherine’s third Spring teaching the Assessment Strategies course for Moore’s graduate program.
