Mr. Parada has been an interaction/entertainment designer and a professor for over twenty years. Shortly after completing his Master’s Degree at NYU’s ITP (Interactive Telecommunications Program), he started gaining valuable practical experience in the emerging Internet industry of the 1990s. He worked with a number of early web development startups, as well as Internet initiatives for existing media companies such as: The New York Times, NBC, and Univision Television Network.
By the late 1990’s, he was working for a large Latin American Internet portal company as the managing Director of Product Development . In 2002, Mr. Parada moved to Philadelphia, where he founded a small interactive technology company and worked with clients such as: Wills Eye Hospital, Saxby’s Coffee, Steve Poses, and the JDRF.
He was a guest speaker at the Global Creative Economy Convergence Summit and at the EMAT program at the University of Tampa where he presented, “Cloud Computing, Telecommuting and the New Global Digital Economy”.
