Hyun-ah Kim is a fashion designer with over 25 years of diversified industry experience, having collaborated with renowned fashion brands and designers at Jones New York. In 2006, she began her own label, HannaleeDesign. As one of the most successful labels in Maple Glen, HannaleeDesign focuses on introducing and personally tailoring current trends to the community. In addition to her design work, Kim has found a new passion in sharing her knowledge with the next generation of fashion designers at her alma mater, Drexel University and at Moore College of Art and Design. As an adjunct instructor, Kim guides her students to think outside the box and to embrace innovation while still maintaining high craftsmanship and attention to detail. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys attending fashion events, exploring art galleries, keeping a close watch on emerging fashion trends and spending time with her family.
