Bailey Goldenbaum

Bailey Goldenbaum (they/them) is an adjunct professor at Moore College of Art & Design, dedicated to fostering anti-oppressive and inclusive educational environments. In Brooklyn, NY, Bailey spent eight years in public education serving as a visual and media arts teacher and deputy dean of special education. They led school-wide teacher mentorship initiatives to enhance student educational outcomes and staff retention. They championed media literacy for their students, forming collaborations with PBS Student Reporting Labs and WNET to create original journalistic content. Goldenbaum holds a post-baccalaureate degree in Art Education from Moore, their MA in art education from CUNY Brooklyn College, and a certification in school building leadership from the College of Saint Rose.
