THE WOMEN’S FILM FESTIVAL (TWFF) is back with an exciting lineup of films and events September 21–October 1, 2023. The festival will feature 10 days of programming that will include screenings, workshops and networking opportunities for the filmmakers and our audiences.

Our selections come from the submissions received around the world and films range from serious and empowering to heartwarming and comical. The festival features fascinating documentaries, compelling feature films and 12 programs of amazing short films.

Several of the films being presented are world premiers, including our opening night film, SHOW HER THE MONEY. Featuring Sharon Gless, and a bevy of amazing women entrepreneurs, SHOW HER THE MONEY pulls back the curtain on the extreme underfunding of women in the Venture Capital world, with less than 2% of venture capital going to women.

The area’s own Sheryl Lee Ralph is the producer of the inspiring documentary UNEXPECTED which will be a part of the popular Local filmmakers program.

A record number of filmmakers will be at the screenings for Q&A’s after the films. Both local and national filmmakers as well as festival staff are available for interviews and additional information.

Moore College of Art and Design Students can attend for free using the code MOORE100 and presenting ID at the door. *Opening night tickets must be ordered online ahead of time.
