2024 Alumni Reunion Schedule

Enjoy a cup of coffee and chat with Shakeyia Kersey, Director of the Locks Career Center. Learn how alumni can benefit from the LCC’s services or pay it forward as a mentor.

Back by popular demand! Building upon our recently launched Unique Experiential Learning Opportunity (UELO) program, we invite you to dive into a dynamic speed networking session designed to give alumni the opportunity to professionally connect with Moore juniors. Come together to share insights, offer guidance, and inspire the next generation of artists and designers. Refreshments will be provided.

In this collaborative exchange, students and alumni can either bring works-in-progress for feedback or offer guided critique on projects. Please note that there is limited space available for alumni bringing their own work. However, there is no restriction on the number of individuals who can offer critiques.

Founded by a group of Moore students in 1974, The Clay Studio marks its 50th anniversary this year!  Enjoy refreshments on The Clay Studio's rooftop, participate in handbuilding clay activities and enjoy the Founders & Foundations exhibition, showcasing work by Moore alumni. Hosted by co-founder Jill Bonovitz '74 (who is celebrating her 50th reunion this year!), this event will be an unforgettable celebration of artistic legacy and achievement. Alumni celebrating their 50th reunion will enjoy complimentary admission.

Enjoy a guided walking tour with Alumni Council President Mary Jennings ’88 and view public art along the Parkway. The tour will depart from Moore’s entrance at 8 AM.

Celebrate with our landmark year alumni commemorating their 5th, 10th, 25th and 50th reunions! Enjoy remarks from President Cathy Young and a delicious meal as we gather to honor our incredible alumni community. The Class of ’74, ’99, ’14 & ’19 will enjoy complimentary admission.

Experience the campus you know and love from a fresh perspective with our student-led tours. Our enthusiastic guides will lead you through familiar sights, sharing their unique insights and stories along the way.

Discover techniques in contour, proportion, anatomy, and the 8-head method while working with a life model. Enhance your skills and explore the human form under the guidance of a beloved Moore faculty member. All experience levels welcome. Materials provided.

Alumni Exhibitions

Moore offers a variety of opportunities to participate in campus exhibitions in The Galleries at Moore, through juried and invitational shows. In 2022, over 50 alumni were featured in Rare Visions & Restless Revelations, a juried exhibition organized by Morgan Hobbs, Assistant Director of Gross McCleaf Gallery, Philadelphia. In 2021, the Galleries hosted Here & There, an invitational exhibition that highlighted the work of six alumni whose artistic practices explore themes of "place”: Anne Canfield ’99 (BFA), Robin Dintiman ’72 (BFA), Naomieh Jovin ’17 (BFA), Michelle Angela Ortiz ’00 (BFA), Laura Petrovich-Cheney ’11 (MFA), and Rachel Wallis ’16 (MA). In addition, the Galleries hosted a virtual alumni exhibition in 2021, juried by Claire Eide MA ’21, Socially Engaged Art, and featuring the work of alumni spanning  graduation years from 1961 to 2020.

Stay tuned for more information about future alumni exhibition opportunities.
