Ulana Zahajkewycz is a native of New Jersey. She received her BFA from Montclair State University and MFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Illustration. Some of her work has appeared in the following publications and websites: USA/Sy-Fy Network, Runner's World, Kitchen Table Magazine, New York Free Press, Top Shelf Comics, Girl's Life, International Tattoo Art, Sothebys.com, American Illustration, Los Angeles Society of Illustrators, CMYK, Minnesota History Center, City Pages and the New York Times. She has illustrated five children's books in the Chuckie the Dog series and is the co-owner of the Carnival of Collectables Antique Mall in Sicklerville, NJ.

Zahajkewycz has exhibited her work at various venues, including the CBGB's gallery, Max Fish, Light Grey Art Lab, the Soo Visual Arts Center, the Westbeth Gallery, Philadelphia Sketch Club, Montclair State University, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Lunar Boy Gallery, and at the Woodstock '99 festival. Her print Murder She Wrote is part of the permanent collection at the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art in Minneapolis, MI.
