Artist Statement
Madi Diaz is an artist hailing from the greater NYC and North Jersey area. All the art she makes is drawn from the love and community of the many people in her life - but for Mega Wins, she drew inspiration from two core, yet opposing aspects of herself. Delilah and Katz represent impulsiveness and fear of change interacting with one another. Through the inspiration derived from her experience with mental health, and overall exploration of personality, Diaz creates a fun and bubbly story about a girl's decision with her lottery winnings.
