Artist Statement

Fish Out of Water is the spiritual successor to the first project I ever made here at Moore, way back in my first year. Born of a multimedia experimentation exercise, my ultimate first product was silly, but charming in a crazy way. Before long, I had a bunch of characters all created in this exciting little world that came from what was originally essentially a shitpost. These characters sat quietly in the back of mind, there but not forgotten, until senior year when I had the chance to revisit the old idea I loved so much. The pitch bible I'm showing here today is an overarching view of what that crazy world would look like if it were to become an animated show.
