Animation & Game Arts

Build worlds. Create characters. Bring your vision to life.

Maybe you're a born storyteller.

You grew up glued to your Playstation. You sometimes stay up all night, designing a cast of fictional characters in your head.

If any of the above sounds like you, Animation & Game Arts might be your major.

Animation & Game Arts—or AGA, as we like to call it around here—will prepare you for a dream job in the exciting and ever-expanding creative fields of animation and gaming. You'll learn from industry experts in brand-new digital spaces like animation labs, editing bays, and even a stop-motion animation studio! You'll also become a pro with cutting-edge tools, programs and equipment, giving you a leg up after graduation.

You won't believe how far you go as an Animation & Game Arts student. No prior animation knowledge is required—and yet, when you graduate, you'll be ready for the career of a lifetime!

P.S. Did we also mention that we have a gaming lounge? Be sure to bring popcorn. 🎮

I am a huge nerd. I love Star Wars, Steven Universe, and all sorts of different nerdy things, and there are tons of people in AGA who share the same interests. I made my first short film in sophomore year. Seeing my own characters come to life excited me.
