Animation & Game Arts

Build worlds. Create characters. Bring your vision to life.

Maybe you're a born storyteller.

You grew up glued to your Playstation. You sometimes stay up all night, designing a cast of fictional characters in your head.

If any of the above sounds like you, Animation & Game Arts might be your major.

Animation & Game Arts—or AGA, as we like to call it around here—will prepare you for a dream job in the exciting and ever-expanding creative fields of animation and gaming. You'll learn from industry experts in brand-new digital spaces like animation labs, editing bays, and even a stop-motion animation studio! You'll also become a pro with cutting-edge tools, programs and equipment, giving you a leg up after graduation.

You won't believe how far you go as an Animation & Game Arts student. No prior animation knowledge is required—and yet, when you graduate, you'll be ready for the career of a lifetime!

P.S. Did we also mention that we have a gaming lounge? Be sure to bring popcorn. 🎮

Before I became president of the Animation Club, I took part in Moore's annual Anijam as a participating member. It was my first time directing and producing a short film, and I did it in 72 hours with three other people. It was so invigorating to put everyone's strengths together to make something so awesome. It was a huge confidence boost for everyone.

Rozz is a freelance animator and creates work she describes as “mainly mixed-media/experimental animation.” Her career path began while she was still in her senior year, after her internship with Philadelphia animation studio Deux Wave. She had the opportunity to contribute to a YouTube Artist Spotlight Story on musician Billie Eilish called “A Snippet into Billie’s Mind.” This opened up numerous other opportunities to collaborate on mixed-media videos for celebrities including Bad Bunny, Ilana Glazer, SZA and more.
