Artist Statement
Lee Gonzalez is an animator and illustrator from Leesburg, Virginia. They love creating comforting works, but much of the work they consume is on the opposite end of the spectrum. This project is an experiment and a love letter to all aspects of their personality and interests.
"Reap What You Sew" is a short, animated 2D film combining three moods that aren't often found together: curiosity, fear and comedy. It follows Clover, a plush bunny that has finally been purchased, and life is a dream...that is, until Clover discovers an ominous secret hidden by its buyer, Mona. What will Clover uncover in the life that awaits at Mona's house?
