The job of an art historian, and that of a curator, involves creating a story through multitasking, attention to detail, organization, and the vision to join all the parts in a meaningful way. These majors introduce students to the creative, educational, and professional aspects of what experts in their fields do on a daily basis, including writing, research, and collaborating—while also allowing them the freedom to cultivate their own studio practice.
