In their last year as Art Education majors at Moore, our students engage in a rigorous program, exploring their own studio practices while simultaneously earning their teaching certificate through student teaching. This show is a culmination of months of hard work. They have explored ideas and materials to develop a body of work and a thesis paper, sharing their journey both visually and in text. In addition to growing their voice in their studio practice, they have developed their pedagogical approach to the classroom through their experiences gained while student teaching. Our students offer us impressive and unique examples of their ideas and experiences in a range of mediums. They graduate from Moore prepared to advance the fields of art, design, education and research through their own unique and creative voices.
