Flexible Programs


Select any individual courses of interest from any program area in order to acquire the creative skills and technical proficiencies that will differentiate you. 


Choose a certificate curriculum and earn a prestigious Moore College credential that demonstrates your command of an area and equips you with a competitive advantage.


Non-Credit: Take courses without enrolling in a certificate. Individual classes may be taken on a noncredit basis. Students pay a lower tuition for these classes and receive the benefit of coursework evaluation without letter grades.

Credit: All courses may be taken for credit whether or not you are enrolled in a certificate program. Register for credit if you wish to earn a certificate. 

Act 48 Credit: All courses offer Pennsylvania certified art educators the option to earn Act 48 credits.

Independent Field Study: Certificate students may receive elective credit for self-guided work experience.

Program Areas


Digital Design classes emphasize design and creativity while providing intensive technical training and professional-level software skills within the context of contemporary visual communications. The program meets the needs of students with varied educational and career backgrounds who want to foster their artistic sensibilities while building industry-specific training.  

All courses are hands-on and taught in the Fox Center for Digital Arts, Design Media & Printing with state-of-the-art equipment using the latest versions of specialized software. Outstanding faculty provide flexible and practical instruction aimed at developing cutting-edge technical proficiencies, a creative vision based on the principles of good design, and a strong foundation for building a professional portfolio.


Moore’s fashion programs have been preparing students for career success for more than 85 years. Evolving along with fashion itself, the programs have become established as among the most distinguished in the nation. Students learn under the direction of esteemed faculty in the spacious studios and state-of-the-art technology center of Moore’s acclaimed Fashion Design Department, recently ranked by College Magazine as # 3 among the top ten fashion departments across the country.

Beginning with an overview of fashion essentials, classes focus on the expertise and high-demand proficiencies needed for each phase of apparel creation, development, and marketing. Advanced work culminates in portfolio building and presentation skills.  

A unique facet of each course provides you with professional fashion reference material that you may include in a digital toolkit to take with you as a future career resource. Certificate students also benefit from membership in the Moore Alumni Association, offering a network of thousands, and lifetime access to the assistance of the Locks Career Center. Whether furthering a current pursuit or initiating a new career path, the College’s tradition of educational excellence will foster the creative, technical, practical and business know-how needed to take a place in this challenging and exciting field.


The Interior Design Studies Program meets the needs of individuals seeking new career opportunities or fulfilling a personal interest in interior design. Learn how to create a range of exciting residential and commercial spaces that are functional and aesthetically pleasing. Design studios focus on the complex functions of the interior environment, the general principles of interior design, and the proficiencies to transform that information into a design solution. Emphasis is on problem-solving, space planning and the communication/presentation skills needed to serve clients. Through a project-based approach in a supportive environment, coursework teaches the application of design concepts, technical information and hands-on skills leading to the development of a professional portfolio.
