On Tuesday, May 8th, AIGA Philadelphia Will Host Feedback 14.
AIGA Philadelphia will host its 14th annual evening of portfolio reviews for graduating design students. Some 300 students are expected to attend to reap the benefit of critiques and encouragement from over 50 of Philadelphia’s top-rated design industry professionals. Reviewers have the opportunity to engage in their community by volunteering their time and experience as professionals in the form of one-on-one portfolio reviews. They also get the chance to preview new, emerging talent from Philadelphia’s area colleges. This year’s event will feature a more broad range of reviewers with expertise in print design, interactive/web design, illustration, and more.

FEEDBACK provides an opportunity for students to hone their presentation skills, to network among professionals, and to socialize among peers. Designers entering the workforce gain valuable insights by participating in a minimum of three one-on-one reviews with the best in the business.

Additionally, FEEDBACK also offers informational breakout sessions designed to offer valuable insight as they transition from student to professional.
FEEDBACK 14 will feature the following topics and speakers:
- HOW TO BUILD YOUR PERSONAL BRAND with Christian Shea, Principal and Director of Marketing, Lyquix Inc.
- DESIGN THE PERFECT JOB SEARCH with Zoe Perilman, Recruiter, Mission Staff
- FREELANCE LEGAL-EASE with Miriam De Chant, Esq., Director, Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts

Press are invited to attend this annual event that draws close to 400 members of Philadelphia’s design community, all of whom contribute to the thriving creative economy in our region.
