Come get your groove on and iron yourself out with a sweaty, serious, playful, ecstatic dance-inspired Sunday morning creative dance party. Expect a ebbing and flowing, medium to high-energy dance music and verbal facilitation by performer and choreographer Meg Foley, inviting you to bring attention to your body and your relationship to the room. Let's dance together and let the community emerge. Come as you are and Dance. It. All. Out. Right.

Meg Foley is a Philadelphia-based performer, choreographer, and director of moving parts, the name she ascribes to her various dance- and performance-based actions that explore the materiality of dance and physical identity as form. Her work has been presented locally by the Philadelphia FringeArts Festival, Vox Populi Gallery, Bowerbird, Thirdbird, and Icebox Project Space, and in New York City, Los Angeles, Canada, Germany, and Poland. She teaches at University of the Arts and is creative co-director of The Whole Shebang, an interdisciplinary arts space and studio in South Philadelphia that hosts workshops and classes and provides studio rental to artists at affordable rates.

This event is part of the Bodyworks exhibition and is FREE and open to the public and will take place in The Levy Gallery for the Arts in Philadelphia.
