Join us for MOORE’s 2019 Alumni Reunion!

Pick and choose from a variety of events from Friday, June 7 – Saturday, June 8. Reconnect with fellow alums through interactive activities and celebrate the opening of the 2019 juried alumni exhibition. See the full list of reunion activities below.

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

Art Educator’s Happy Hour, 4 – 6 pm
Hosted by former Art Education Director Lynne Horoschak ‘66
Legacy Society Reception, 4 – 6 pm
Thank you for including Moore in your estate plans.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8

Mix and Mingle Brunch, 11 am – 12:30 pm
Complimentary for 10th, 25th and 50th Reunion years.

Student-led Tours of Campus, 12:30 – 1:30 pm
See how the physical campus has changed since graduation.

Historic Costumes Collection Tour, 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm
Join alumni Jane Likens and Ellen Forbes Burnie in the Fashion Design Department where they will have a number of garments on display from Moore's historic costume collection.

Drawing Workshop, 1:30 – 3:30 pm
Rekindle your drawing skills with this workshop led by 2018 Distinguished Alumna, Janice Merendino, founder of the Branch Out Project.

​Leather Clutch Making Workshop, 1:30 – 3:30 pm
Join alumna Lisa Ditty of LPDstudios for a "Make Me Mine" workshop to design and create a clutch especially for you.  You will be learning basic sewing, cutting and punching leather techniques to make this playful number with several fun colors to choose from.  (Leather alternatives are available.)

Doris Chorney Memorial Gathering, 4 – 5 pm
Join fellow alums and family members of Doris Chorney '79, Moore's former Director of Alumni Affairs to celebrate Doris' memory at Moore and the many alumni lives she touched.

Distinguished Alumni Awards and Alumni Exhibition Opening, 5:30 – 8 pm
Join us in honoring Susan Sommer '72 and Dale Najarian '88 as this year's Distinguished Alumni, followed by the opening reception of Moore's annual juried alumni exhibition.
