JOSHUA WILKIN, DEAN OF STUDENTS
Dr. Joshua Wilkin joined Moore in August 2017 with over 15 years of experience in Higher Education. His work history includes experience as a Residence Life Administrator at the University of Sciences in Philadelphia, Resident Counselor and Interim Assistant Director of Residential Life for Outreach and Judicial Affairs at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and, most recently, the Associate Director for Campus Life at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Master of Education degree in Student Personnel Services and Counseling in Higher Education from Widener University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Education Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University.
As Dean of Students, Joshua serves as the Chief Student Affairs Officer at the College, overseeing the Student Affairs division, in addition to serving as an advocate for students and their needs in contacts with faculty, staff, and other administrators.
RUTH GAYLE, DIRECTOR OF COUNSELING SERVICES
Ruth has been at Moore for 18 years and, therefore, has a great deal of experience working with artists. She provides individual counseling for students on a wide range of issues from college adjustment problems to more complex personal difficulties. She also serves as a liaison with outside psychologists and psychiatrists, as needed.
DIANE AZUMA, RN, DIRECTOR OF STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES
Diane came to Moore in the Fall of 1998. She has extensive background as a nurse in women’s health issues. She provides nursing care to students on a one to one basis for a wide range of acute and chronic health issues. She is a health advocate and patient education provider at Moore. She serves as a liaison for students with outside health care providers, as needed.
Slade Roff, ASSISTANT TO THE DEAN OF STUDENTS & STUDENT Affairs COORDINATOR
Slade recently came to Moore in January 2015. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College where she studied Theater, Cultural Anthropology, and Languages. In her role, Slade works closely with the Student Affairs staff, serving as administrative assistant, but also overseeing events such as Commencement and Orientation. She also leads the Student Engagement Committee.
