ABOUT MOORE  

Founded in 1848, Moore is the first and only visual arts college for women in the United States and the only professional college of art and design in Philadelphia devoted solely to the visual arts. Moore’s vibrant Philadelphia campus is located at the center of the City’s cultural community including The Barnes Foundation, Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Franklin Institute, and Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University.  

As an educational leader, Moore is committed to developing confident students with the professional skills to succeed. As a cultural leader, The Galleries at Moore offer internationally recognized exhibitions that showcase the work of significant artists.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

Students who successfully complete SADI prior to their senior year in high school are eligible to receive a $2,500 per year scholarship upon application and acceptance to Moore’s BFA program.

MOORE INTERNSHIPS

100% of our students participate in a funded internship during their time at Moore.


MOORE GRADUATES

100% of students from the Moore BFA class of 2018 are employed or are in graduate school and 93% work in their fields of study. These figures are based on an 89% response rate from our survey. 


ADMISSIONS WELCOMES YOU

Throughout the SADI experience, the Admissions office is available to answer questions about Moore and applying to art and design colleges in general. You may speak with an Admissions Counselor at any time to receive informal portfolio guidance.
