Post-Baccalaureate students are only required to take Art: Content Knowledge and Fundamental Subjects: Content Knowledge (codes listed below).
BFA students must take all three Pre-Professional Skills Tests (PPST exams) Reading, Writing and Math, in addition to Art: Content Knowledge and Fundamental Subjects: Content Knowledge (codes listed below). The PPST exams must be taken before entering the second semester of your junior year in the Art Education Program.
Students must meet specific requirements in order to qualify for K-12 certification credentials, from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The basic requirements include:
- Satisfactory performance on Praxis Examinations including PPST (above) and Art Content and Fundamental Subjects.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
