Roy A. Wilbur
Roy is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Moore College of Art & Design. Prior to this he was the Senior Marketing Specialist for The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage where he provided marketing consultations for over 100 cultural organizations and individual artists, annually. He was the Associate Managing Director for Public Engagement at Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, where he also directed the Philadelphia International Children’s Festival, and served as Associate Managing Director for The Academy of Vocal Arts, directing its perennial production of Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel and performing the Witch. Roy was Director of Marketing and Communications for Institute of Contemporary Art, Wilmington’s Grand Opera House, The Philadelphia Singers and Philadelphia Drama Guild, and was an adjunct professor for fourteen years with Drexel University’s Arts Administration Program. As a professional opera singer, Roy performed with companies across the U. S., and more recently performed Tito in Lend Me A Tenor, Felix in The Odd Couple and Hector in The History Boys at the Grand Theatre in Williamstown, NJ.
