As a top fashion illustrator for more than twenty years, Lamont O’Neal has worked in nearly every facet of the fashion world. His illustrations have appeared in magazine editorials, book covers, newspapers advertisements, ad campaigns and design houses. His elegant yet versatile images, in watercolor, gouache and pencil, have enabled him to remain current in an ever-changing profession.
O’Neal’s list of clients includes: Barney’s, Broadway Play Pub., Conde Nast, Cosmopolitan, Estee Lauder, Grey Advertising, J.Walter Thompson, Lord & Taylor, Morrow Pub., New York Magazine, Nordstrom, Oscar de la Renta, Polo Ralph Lauren, Publicis, Random House, Simon & Schuster, and Sixth Ave Books, and to name a few.
O’Neal graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. He interned with famed fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez.
In addition to his work as a commercial artist, O’Neal teaches fashion drawing classes at The Moore School of Art in Philadelphia, along with courses in Visual Communication at Parsons The New School and menswear design illustration classes at The Fashion Institute of Technology.
The Society of Illustrators in New York has exhibited his artwork numerous times. He currently lives in Yardley. Pennsylvania.
