    This community-curated Oulooks exhibition explores collaborative life-work partnerships. Heather Moqtaderi, Philadelphia-based curator and teacher, developed the concept for the exhibition and invited four artist couples—Gina Triplett and Matt Curtius, Shoko Teruyama and Matt Kelleher, Heather and Hitoshi Ujiie, and Trefny Dix and Bengt Hokanson—to create new works for Duality. Their paintings, ceramics, glass, and textiles reveal dual, and often complimentary, artistic viewpoints and technical skills.

    The Hunterdon Art Museum presents changing exhibitions of contemporary art, craft and design in a 19th century stone mill listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Founded in 1952, the Museum is a landmark regional art center showcasing works by established and emerging contemporary artists. It also offers a dynamic schedule of art classes and workshops for children and adults, and the popular “Follow Your Art” summer camp program.

    In a new partnership with Aimco, InLiquid is curating rotating exhibitions and organizing engaging public programming at their mid-century modern complex, Park Towne Place. InLiquid is also helping to project manage Park Towne’s acquisition of new works for their permanent collection. Exhibited work will feature pieces from InLiquid’s artist membership base as well as artists specially selected for the opportunity. The arts advisory relationship is part of a redevelopment initiative by Park Towne to become a vital member of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway cultural community.

About Articulate Welcome to Articulate with Jim Cotter, a weekly TV arts magazine show, bringing you fresh and unique stories that explore the variety, quality and heritage of creativity in our region while also showing how art speaks to us in our everyday lives. Jim Cotter is an award-winning journalist who has spent the past decade of his thirty-year career reporting on the arts in Philadelphia. He was born and raised in Ireland where he began his broadcasting career before moving to the U.K. where he worked for BBC Radio Wales and the BBC World Service. Jim has worked all over the world, including in Europe and Asia to report on The Philadelphia Orchestra's tours. -

  • 2016 Fall /Permanent Acquisition at the PA Convention Center, Philadelphia: Textile installation: Colossal Cosmos
  • Recipient of The Franz and Virginia Bader Fund grant. The grant is awarded to visual artists over 40 who live within 150 miles of Washington, D.C. The $15,000 grant enables recipients to concentrate on their artwork.
