Gabrielle Lavin Suzenski

Sarah Peter Hall

Since her appointment as Rochelle F. Levy Director in April of 2017, Suzenski has been working with her team to develop a roster of new and robust programs and exhibitions that better engage Moore students, faculty and the community. In addition to fostering these new initiatives, she is responsible for overseeing all administrative, curatorial, financial, advancement and marketing-related functions. In this role she curates and organizes site-specific installations and manages all full and part-time staff to realize programmatic objectives. Before assuming the directorship, Suzenski had acted in a number of capacities on The Galleries' team over the course of her more than ten years' experience with the organization.
Suzenski began her career in the Fabric Workshop and Museum's post-college apprenticeship program, which led to a full time position working with the organization's founder in coordinating the museums's relocation in Center City Philadelphia in 2006. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Pennsylvania State University and holds a BFA in sculpture and printmaking from Penn State, University Park, Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, hobbies include cycling, hiking, traveling, sewing and eating. Gabrielle is founding contributor, designer, photographer and editor at phillyphoodie.com – a site whose weekly reviews give useful information on area ‘blue collar’ eateries.
