SAGE Food Art Competition: The Art of Chocolate

SAGE Dining Services - the provider of dining services, catering, and vending at Moore College of Art & Design –sponsored its first annual food art competition and exhibition, The Art of Chocolate, on display in the Dining Hall January 19 – February 6, 2012.

The purpose of the competition is to combine SAGE's passion for food with Moore studentsʼ passion for art. The competition is open to sophomore students only. Students were asked to Interpret the theme through their respective medium of choice, but no actual chocolate should be used.

Entries were judged by Gabrielle Lavin, gallery manager, The Galleries at Moore; Elizabeth Gilly, outreach & public relations coordinator, The Galleries at Moore; Kelly McCaughern, curatorial studies senior; and Anthony Condo, manager of SAGE Dining Services at Moore.

The winners are:

First place - Christine Tilton
Second plance - Emily Olouch
Third place - Kacie Doran
